So if anyone is in Christ, there is a new creation: everything old has passed away; see, everything has become new! – 2 Corinthians 5:17, NRSVCE

To live is to change, and to be perfect is to have changed often. ― John Henry Newman

‘Tis the gift to be simple, ’tis the gift to be free,
‘Tis the gift to come down where I ought to be;
And when we find ourselves in the place just right,
‘Twill be in the valley of love and delight.
When true simplicity is gained,
To bow and to bend we shan’t be ashamed;
to turn, turn, will be my delight.
Till by turning, turning we come round right. – Joseph Brackett

Many changes have taken place in my life and in our ministry here at Delight in Disorder. At the same time, one essential thing stayed the same. In the midst of my disordered life, I continue to delight in the One who delights in me. Delight in Disorder Ministries as a nonprofit mission has passed away. The remaining funds generated by book sales and personal donations will be distributed to three worthy causes: Treatment Advocacy Center (TAC), National Alliance on Mental Illness – Indiana chapter (NAMI-IN), and National Shattering Stigma Coalition (NSSC). I will steward our existing books (Delight in Disorder, When Despair Meets Delight, and Hope for Troubled Minds which will be available through Amazon and other distributors. I will take over ownership of this website and be responsible for all content published.

As we close a chapter on Delight in Disorder Ministries, I want to thank all who poured prayerful time, talent, and treasure into our mission. The Holy Spirit has made a difference through your efforts. God has been glorified. We have shared the hope of Christ in a world filled with despair. May God bless your life and future ministry as you have been a blessing to me and many. The seeds you sowed will continue to produce and one day we will reunite in an abundant harvest.

God is now doing a new thing in my life and ministry and I have only caught glimpses of what it entails. There is much I do not know. This seems to be how the Spirit chooses to operate best – on a need to know basis. I will say my intention is to focus on sharing Gospel hope primarily in writing. I will write about what I know best – sharing my experience, strengths, and hope I have come to know over the past six decades. As a Catholic Christian in recovery dual diagnosis of addiction and bipolar disorder, I will do my best to always give reason for the hope that is in me. I have no intention of fishing specks out of the eyes of wounded souls but instead desire to chip away at the log in my eye, with the help of the Holy Spirit.

I would greatly value your prayers as I embark on this quest. I welcome feedback through comments or emails (tonyrobertsdelight@gmail.com). I find that healing happens best in community. If you desire to receive regular reflections, simply subscribe.
